Today is #NationalFragranceDay so I thought I’d share my perfume collection! I used to be a signature scent girlie, but as my obsession grew, I came to need an entire fragrance wardrobe to suit every season, occasion, and mood. I hunted for years for the ideal perfume storage solution, and I finally found it in this antique “vitrine” or glass cabinet, originally from a French department store circa 1900. The vitrine keeps my perfumes organized (by dominant note), dust-free, and visible to admire like I used to gaze at my mother’s collection. One unexpected perk is every time I open the glass door, a fragrant exhalation escapes, with whispers of every perfume asking: What memory do I want to revisit? What fantasy do I want to embody? Who do I want to be today? The conversation between the mind and scent is endlessly fascinating to me, and it was the inspiration for FULL BLOOM.
